Special Guest: Pieter Eenkema van Dijk Pieter Eenkema van Dijk is the founder and president of Van Dyk Recycling Solutions, the leading provider of recycling equipment and systems in North America. In 1984, Pieter moved to New York to establish the North American market for Bollegraaf balers. He founded Van Dyk Baler Corp., which later became Van Dyk Recycling Solutions.  Under Pieter's leadership, the company has grown to become the market leader in the recycling industry, building over 340 Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and installing 2,400 recycling and sorting systems across North America. Pieter has spearheaded the development of systems that convert Municipal Solid Waste into high BTU fuel or plastic waste into recyclable plastic pellets, supporting the transition to a circular economy. Earlier this year he was a featured speaker at SXSW,  where he discussed the role of AI in advancing recycling processes. Van Dyk Recycling Solutions operates from its headquarters in Norwalk, Connecticut, with regional offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, and Tampa. The company's expansive reach and commitment to innovation have solidified its position as a leader in the recycling sector.
