Join us for an exclusive private viewing of Haute Fihnance 101, the debut show from Dutch artist and New York finance insider Hardo & Co. Working under pseudonym, Hardo & Co brings a decade-plus of M&A, PE, VC, and commodities trading to the canvas, or rather, to PowerPoint, his chosen medium. Producing large-format works that are equal parts love letter and satire directed at the machinery of global finance. The works in the show each dissect a different corner of the financial world - from 'Silicon Derby' on Venture Capital to 'Corporate Raiders' on Private Equity and with works on M&A, shipping, trading and more. Hardo's artworks are large (typically 1m70 wide, with a new shipping/commodities work being nearly 3m wide) and colorful. This is art made by someone who participates in the world it depicts - and with details you can stare at for hours and hours.  My works are boasting love letters to banking, markets, trading, to monetary policy – but not blind to their absurdities.
