Tulip Day 2026 will take place in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Tulip Day is going to Washington D.C.. As the U.S. celebrates 250 years, the EU has funded the very first Tulip Day in D.C.

Because Tulip Day New York was born out of a partnership with the NL Club, every member is invited as a VIP guest!

What to expect

150,000 colorful tulips on the National Mall. Pick your own spring bouquet. As a VIP, you get a separate entrance, no lines, private restrooms, complimentary coffee and tea, and a gorgeous view of the garden.

Logistics

Garden opens at 11:15 AM. The event runs until approximately 4:30 PM — but come early for the best picks, recommended no later than 3pm. The Tulip garden is located on the National Mall, near the Smithsonian metro station (Blue/Orange/Silver line). Look for the VIP signage for your entrance.
